Every boy dreams of being a cowboy….

and that was my aim.

I wanted to be a high ridin’ hero and so I saddled up and headed West for a life on my own.

There were many times I wished I was back home. But I became a cowboy that rode away so very long ago. I never forgot memories of things that might have been.

So here I am and there are you. I am still a boy that rode away so very long ago. Chasing dreams under a shared moon and stars.

And I hear your voice on the line which makes me remember I am not alone.

I never forgot those memories of things that might have been.

About jeb610

Taking one day at a time, and enjoying life in the heart of Dixie. People create their own questions because they are afraid to look straight. All you have to do is look straight and see the road, and when you see it, don’t sit looking at it – walk. There are two sides to every issue: one side is right and the other is wrong, but the middle is always evil.

There is definitely a message there. I hope she knows it when she sees it. Don’t go ridin’ off into the sunset just yet.

A great quote and this one by John Wayne,
‘I won’t be wronged, I won’t be insulted, and I won’t be laid a hand on. I don’t do these things to other people, and I require the same from them.” – The Shootist (1976)
