Sparks from the anvil while exploring life and America's treasures-South of the Mason Dixon line

RIP Patty Andrews….

Patty Andrews, the last surviving member of the Andrews Sisters died Wednesday at age 94 of natural causes.

During the 1940′s they were America’s highest paid and most popular female singing group.

From a very different time, they were patriotic, beautiful, clean, God-fearing and amazingly talented.

Only Bob Hope played for more soldiers with the USO.

Great stuff and fun to watch and about as cute as women can be.

Here’s a little tune for your enjoyment featuring Patty.
