Happy Valentines Day….

Valentines Day 2013

Time passages….

You have one moment and it’s all over in a blink of an eye.

Your time is limited and the cycle of life is rapidly moving on.

So take your place and make your choices as you move through your moment of life.

Remember that holding on to what is good to you now, could be the reason things will never get better.

Time waits for no one

Turn this way it’s mid-November….

autumn leaves rustle in the evening.

All paths leading to home, calming me down.

All steps leading home and to happiness.

Living in the country….

It can be tough living in the country.

Clearly for some many the preference is for city living.

A quiet secluded life in the country is simply just not suited for everyone.

It takes time to get use to seeing so many bright stars at night and hearing the rain hit a tin roof.

Then there is that thing called nature everywhere around you. You know, following the natural order of things.

Don’t forget the hiking, swimming in the river/lake. Watermellon patches everywhere.

The raising of animals, gardening…the list just goes on and on.

It can be so alarmingly quiet it can just drive you crazy.

Yep, the country life is not for everyone.

At my age, I don’t buy but a half a loaf of bread….

The human soul needs actual beauty more than bread.

Remember, man does not live on bread alone: sometimes he needs a little buttering up.

The past, the present and the future….

are really one.

Along the way, remember the most important single influence in the life of another person…..

is another person who is worthy of emulation.

Soldier rest….

In between the BBQ and fun, please take a moment to remember what Memorial Day is all about.

What the mother sings to the cradle….

is remembered throughout your life. Thinking of you and thanks for all the songs and wonderful memories.

Remembering my Mother on Mother’s Day.

I spent a year in that town one Sunday….

A man searches all over the world for what he needs and when he returns home he finds it.
