Elinor had just turned 20 years old and has a classic and elegant look about her.
Born on July 15, 1913 in New York City and while a senior at Mount Vernon Seminary, Washington, D.C. she became engaged to Laurence Lange.
They were married in Bronxville, NY on July 1, 1934. A son Thomas was born on April 25, 1936..
On March 1, 1962, the Langes are among 95 people killed in the crash of an American Airlines 707 jet shortly after takeoff from Idlewild Airport.
